Andrew DeYoung made his feature film directorial debut in the comedy "Friendship," starring Paul Rudd and Tim Robinson. The movie follows two sides of a very awkward (and hilarious) friendship between middle-aged men, which, according to DeYoung, was inspired by a “pretty pathetic but also pretty funny” true story. While this was his first feature, DeYoung has been in the game for some time, directing a litany of episodes for many high-profile shows, such as "The Baby-Sitters Club," "High Fidelity," "Man Seeking Woman," "Shrill," and Hulu's "Pen15." He also directed a series on Vimeo called "555," for which he received a Gotham Award nomination.
