This ten-episode drama series spans heart-wrenching stories along with giddy horror. “The Wooden Doll,” is an unfortunate story about a curse surrounding an epidemic involving the common people and a nobleman who exploits them. “The Forbidden Book,” tells the story behind the secret of a cursed book. “The Grudge Island,” is all about the revengeful spirit of a soldier, fictionalized from the actual Rebellion of Jeong Yeo Rip. “Gumiho,” follows the search for the mysterious fox marble and tells the story of a nine-tailed fox who tries to become a human to survive. These stories share all the feelings of attachment and sorrow of Koreans.
