Based on the Capcom video game series of the same name, Devil May Cry takes the bloody action of those games and amplifies it with a perfectly comedic touch. A throwback to an older era of snarky action movies like Bad Boys but with a supernatural touch, the eight-episode Devil May Cry is an endlessly entertaining show that finds clever ways to comment on real world issues like racism, refugees, and religion. It does this without ever losing a clear sense of over-the-top fun that's impossible to deny. For fans of anime, Devil May Cry is a slight but entertaining binge-watch.
