Beneath all the sci-fi and quirky side characters, Loki quietly showcases its glorious purpose. Over two seasons, we see a god who's not Thor, not worthy, and not trusted, finally begin to ask who he actually is. And for once, he's given space to figure that out. Loki is not a villain or sidekick. He's just a flawed person who eventually chooses something bigger than power. I enjoyed the series mostly because it gives the God of Mischief the screen time he always deserved. But it's so much more than that. It's about letting go of who you were told to be and choosing who you want to become.
