Outer Banks Season 3 continues the Netflix soap-adventure centering on two conflicting groups of teens, the wealthy “Kooks” and the working-class “Pogues”. The show is created by twins Josh and Jonas Pate and novelist Shannon Burke, and is set on the picturesque barrier islands off the coast of North Carolina, USA known as the Outer Banks. The first two seasons follow protagonist John B (Chase Stokes) and his friends (the Pogues) as they look for John B’s missing father and the treasure he was searching for when he disappeared. While finding the treasure before the bad guys remains the central theme of the show, the characters also explore the good and the bad in conflict, friendship, and love.
The third season of Outer Banks sees Chase Stokes return as series hero John B, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Jonathan Daviss as Pope Heyward, Madison Bailey as Kiara “Kie” Carrera, Charles Harford as Big John, and Carlacia Grant as Cleo, who was upgraded to a series regular this season. Charles Esten returns as the villain Ward Cameron.
